First of all, I must say thank you for brother YC Nang and sis Ceylyn Tay for organizing this meaningful charity event where we are given an opportunity to interact with the senior society at Rumah Seri Bahagia @ Simpang Pulai and Hannah Home @ Kg Simee, Ipoh on 31 Jan 2016. To make story short, lets go on with the pics.
Soon after gathering donations from our friends, we make a shopping trip to Tesco Ipoh Garden where we rake up 6 trolleys of groceries. The bad news is Tesco is having a no plastic bag day on 30 Jan 2016 (Saturday) where we need to move the goods one by one!Arriving at Rumah Seri Bahagia on 31 Jan 2016 (Sunday) 10am. Luckily quite a lot of helping hands in unloading our groceries. Before our event starts, everyone supporters and friends are invited to have a group pics with us. Have a look at the groceries prepared by all of us. It’s massive! One thing for sure, I can really feel the warm aura here!In case, you are wondering what is the orange thingy?? Actually it’s a Chinese Style Birthday Cake aka Sau Tou and it’s prepared by Chef Siew and his team. We are witnessing the cake baking moment. We invited all senior residents of the home who have birthday on this particular month to candle blowing session with us.Enjoying our early “Lou Sang” with the home’s residents with shouting of Chinese wishes loudly!I’m happily serving white rice to home’s residents while Cheryl is walking around and giving red packets (angpow). We are enjoying every moment of it in sharing our CNY festive joy with them.Thank you KT bro as God of Wealth and Gunalan as Justice Bao. You guys are awesome and most of us are having great time of it. The seated “popo”‘s birthday falls on 2nd day of CNY and she gets an extra CNY angpow from God of Wealth. The event ends by noon and we make our move to Hannah Home at Kg Simee.It’s a hot day and everyone is feeling the heat but charity works has to goes on. This is the Hannah Home’s building and it’s home for those orphans and under privilege kids and adults.The behind scene of God of Wealth in action in giving angpows to Hannah Home’s kids. Everyone is looking forward to receive goodies from “Choy Sun aka God of Wealth”.As usual, Cheryl is smiling during the ang pow giving session. Ang pow giving is a truly blessings session. If anyone fancy an angpow from Cheryl, please PM her.The game session by game master, Miss Ceylyn Tay where everyone is busy blowing the balloon till burst.
